Packers Calendar: Crosby in Qualifier for WSGA Match Play Championship

Packers kicker Mason Crosby tees off at 10:30 a.m. at the Chaska Golf Course in Appleton.

It's a busy day in the world of the Green Bay Packers today beginning with kicker Mason Crosby taking part in a qualifier for the Wisconsin State Golf Association (WSGA) Match Play Championship.

Crosby tees off at 10:30 a.m. Central time at the Chaska Golf Course in Appleton, Wis. His progress can be tracked online at the WSGA's website.

The 23 lowest scores from Crosby's region move onto the championship.

Over at the Sport and Society Conference that the Green Bay Packers jointly sponsor along with St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis. and being held on campus today, several connections to the Packers will be made.

Broadcaster Wayne Larrivee and team president Mark Murphy will be taking part in the Welcome and Introduction at the Walter Theatre from 9:00 to 9:15 a.m.

An exhibit on "The Making of the Packers' Super Bowl Rings" takes places from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Robert and Carol Bush Art Center Galleries.

Then a screening of Super Bowl XLV will take place from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Fort Howard Theatre, F.K. Bemis International Center.

Attendance at these events is not open to the general public. Registration has already been closed.

Finally, the NFL-NCAA Coaches Academy wraps up in Dallas on Thursday that is providing 30 former NFL players with tools and networking opportunities for potential careers as football coaches.

Representing the Packers is center Lance Zeno who played with the Packers in 1993.
