During the offseason, LSU football coach Les Miles received attention for rappelling down a 24-story building in Louisiana for a charitable cause.
There's no word if Packers coach Mike McCarthy will be doing the same Wednesday, but charity fundraisers will be rappelling down Lambeau Field with or without him.
The event taking place throughout the day at Packers training camp is called "The Ultimate Lambeau Leap," which is being done to benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin.
While "The Ultimate Lambeau Leap" is underway, the Packers return to the practice field on Wednesday at 8:20 a.m. CT in a session open to the public.
The Packers have suffered through a high amount of injuries early in training camp and will be hoping for a day of good health. While offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga and wide receiver Jordy Nelson won't be coming back anytime soon, the Packers will be hoping to see a return from less serious injuries like the biceps issue that forced wide receiver Randall Cobb to drop out on Tuesday.
Following practice, McCarthy will have his daily press conference streamed live on the team's official website at Packers.com.
