Packers Calendar: Casey Hayward's Game-Day Status Coming Friday

The Packers cornerback will be listed as probable, questionable, doubtful or out on Friday after practice.

Green Bay Packers cornerback Casey Hayward once again took a step forward in his recovery from a hamstring injury to practice in pads on Thursday.

That didn't mean anything a week ago, however, when he was still ruled out of the game against the Detroit Lions.

At least the Packers haven't ruled Hayward out of this Sunday's game with the Baltimore Ravens. There's still a chance their slot defender could play, and his game-day status projection is coming on Friday when he'll be listed as probable, questionable, doubtful or out.

The same goes for fellow cornerback Jarrett Bush and linebacker Andy Mulumba, neither of whom have practiced yet this week, but neither have yet to be ruled out.

Following practice, head coach Mike McCarthy will have his press conference streamed live on the team's official website at Packers.com, expected to take place at 12:30 p.m. CT.

Early Friday morning, head coach Mike McCarthy will make his rounds on statewide local radio as follows:

  • WTMJ AM 620 Milwaukee at 6:25 a.m.
  • WSAU AM/FM 550/99.9 Wausau/Stevens Point at 6:35 a.m.
  • WIBA AM 1310 Madison at 6:45 a.m.
  • WIXX 101.1 FM Green Bay at 7:50 a.m.

In the evening, the Packers will host their annual Haunted Concourse inside Lambeau Field.

The Haunted Concourse this year again is open for two days and has an admission price of $2, with all proceeds to benefit the New Community Shelter Inc. It is accessed through the Oneida Nation Gate on Lambeau Field’s east side. It is open Friday, Oct. 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; and again from 9 to 11 p.m. Lines may be cut off prior to the closing times to ensure there are no unnecessary waits.

The Haunted Concourse, designed for teens with a PG-13 rating, will be set in a darkened Lambeau Field concourse and feature scenes of high-tech shocks and horrors. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a guardian into the Haunted Concourse, and children under the age of eight will not be permitted.
