Packers Calendar: Bryan Bulaga's Injury Report Status

The Packers will release their final injury on Friday in advance of the upcoming game against the Lions.

Packers fans in the United Kingdom received big news on Friday after Scotland rejected their vote for independence on Thursday. But don't worry, Scots, you still have your soccer independence.

Even though the Green Bay Packers don't hold a full-scale practice on Friday, more may be learned about offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga through the release of the team's injury report.

Since tearing his MCL in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks, Bulaga has taken part in every practice on a limited basis as listed on the team's injury report despite not playing last Sunday against the New York Jets.

An appoximation of the right tackle's practice status will be released on Friday, the last injury report of the week before the Packers' meeting with the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

The Packers will also release Bulaga's gameday status: either out, doutbful (approximately 25 percent chance of playing), questionable (50 percent) or probable (75 percent or better). Last week Bulaga was listed as questionable.

Other players whose status will be anticipated on the injury report are cornerback Casey Hayward, safety Micah Hyde and linebacker Brad Jones. Linebacker Andy Mulumba has already been ruled out.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy will have his last press conference in advance of the Lions game at 11:30 a.m. CT to be streamed live on Packers.com.

McCarthy will also make several appearances on local radio stations in the state of Wisconsin on Friday morning:

  • 620 AM WTMJ in Milwaukee at 6:25 a.m.
  • 550 AM and 99.9 FM WSAU in Wausau/Stevens Point at 6:35 a.m.
  • 1310 AM WIBA Madison at 6:45 a.m.
  • 101.1 FM WIXX in Green Bay at 7:50 a.m.

Here at Cheesehead TV, the return of Railbird Central from its brief hiatus will take place at 8:30 a.m. CT with Cheesehead TV's own Aaron Nagler to help me preview the Packers' match-up with the Lions.
