Brown County residents who received invoices enabling them to purchase tickets for a 2014 Green Bay Packers game are reminded that payment is due Thursday Apr. 3.
Residents may pay for their tickets online using the Packers’ Ticketmaster system via Packers.com.
Also on Thursday, Packers punter Tim Masthay is one of 28 NFL players taking part in the NFL Business Management & Entrepreneurial Program (BM&E) April 3-6 at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
The program will cover topics such as financial literacy and analysis, investing for impact, and business plan development.
Attendees will receive mentoring from several former NFL players as well as the Irish Angels, a select group of investors within the Notre Dame community who advise and invest in start-ups. Throughout the four days, participants will work in groups to develop and deliver a business plan for the Business Pitch Competition that closes out the program.
Masthay took a moment to write about his expectations for the program on his personal website at SportsBlog.com:
I'm sure there will be a lot that I find interesting during these next four days in South Bend, but the subjects I am most looking forward to learning about are: the process of launching a new product/venture, running a foundation/non-profit, and how to decide where to pursue graduate studies.
Finally on Thursday, the pro day circuit continues with two events in the state of Florida. Workouts will be held on the campuses of Miami and Florida International.
Among the top prospects on display at Miami are tackle Seantrel Henderson, quarterback Stephen Morris, wide receiver Allen Hurns and guard Brandon Linder.
