Packers Calendar: Aaron Rodgers Golfs in Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will take part in the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.

Friday is the final round of MJCI Celebrity-Amateur Competition. Rodgers will tee off with the rest of his group on Tee No. 1 at 9:10 a.m. local time, playing one hole ahead of the event's namesake, Michael Jordan, who tees off at 9:20 a.m.

The public is allowed to attend and can buy tickets online at MJCIGolf.com.

For those following from afar, the best bet might be to follow the Twitter account of ARIA Las Vegas, the casino and resort that owns Shadow Creek.

Also on Friday, Packers punter Tim Masthay continues his participation in the NFL Business Management & Entrepreneurial Program at the University of Notre Dame along with 27 other NFL players, where they're learning about the world of business.

Masthay is keeping a daily journal of the event at his personal blog, and let his readers know about one of his mentors in the program:

Another mentor, Gary Gigot, whose name is attached to the entrepreneurialism center here at Notre Dame is a big Packers fan. He attended Notre Dame high school in Green Bay and lived on the same street and at the same time as Vince Lombardi.

Finally, there is one pro day workout on Friday taking place at Florida Atlantic University. The best player on display might be cornerback Keith Reaser, the 41th player at his position by NFLDraftScout.com, estimated to run the 40 in the 4.4 range.
