The team was back at it yesterday, staging a full 2 hour practice in pads after their bye week. Coach McCarthy told reporters:
“We had a very spirited, physical practice, probably one of our better practices of the year,” McCarthy said. “We went with a large emphasis in the run game. Probably a little too physical in some spots.”
Good. That’s what the guys need. Hopefully we’ll see some of this physicality on Monday night. This Broncos defense is not the horrible squad that suffered through a 3 game losing streak. But they are smaller up front, and I think with the right mindset, the Packers can take it to them in the running game.
