Packers 46-Man Roster Prediction for Week 14 vs. Falcons
Aaron Rodgers has officially been ruled out of Sunday's game. Cheesehead TV has the prediction on who will join him on the sidelines.
Here's our best guess at predicting the Green Bay Packers' game-day roster for Sunday's Week 14 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Reminder, only 46 players can be active...
The entire roster is included. Those bold and italicized are predicted to be inactive...
Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers, Scott Tolzien, Matt Flynn
Running back: Eddie Lacy, John Kuhn, James Starks, Khalil Bell
Wide receiver: Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Jarrett Boykin, Myles White, Chris Harper
Tight end: Andrew Quarless, Ryan Taylor, Brandon Bostick, Jake Stoneburner
Offensive line: David Bakhtiari, Josh Sitton, Evan Dietrich-Smith, T.J. Lang, Don Barclay, Marshall Newhouse, Lane Taylor, Derek Sherrod
Defensive line: Datone Jones, B.J. Raji, Ryan Pickett, C.J. Wilson, Johnny Jolly, Mike Daniels, Josh Boyd, Jerel Worthy
Outside linebacker: Clay Matthews, Nick Perry, Mike Neal, Nate Palmer, Andy Mulumba
Inside linebacker: A.J. Hawk, Brad Jones, Jamari Lattimore, Victor Aiyewa
Cornerback: Tramon Williams, Sam Shields, Micah Hyde, Davon House, Jarrett Bush
Safety: Morgan Burnett, M.D. Jennings, Chris Banjo, Sean Richardson
Special teams: Mason Crosby, Tim Masthay, Brett Goode
Commentary:
- Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) and C.J. Wilson (ankle) have officially been ruled "out" for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
- Evan Dietrich-Smith is listed as "questionable," giving him roughly a 50/50 chance of playing. With two more days until game time, the guess here is that he'll get enough rest to overcome his recent ankle injury.
- Brandon Bostick (concussion), David Bakhtiari (illness), Ryan Pickett (knee), linebackers Nick Perry (foot) and Mike Neal (abdomen) and Jamari Lattimore (quadriceps) are all listed as "probable" and all are predicted to play.
- Despite acquiring Khalil Bell this week, he's predicted to be inactive, not yet versed in the Packers' schemes.
- With Lattimore back to active status, Victor Aiyewa goes back to the inactive list.
- Jerel Worthy, Nate Palmer and Jerel Worthy are all predicted to be inactive just like they were last week.

McCarthy said Richardson will likely get more opportunities this game. With Rodgers out, that's officially what I'm excited for this game.

I'm thinking I'm with you on that.

If the Pack can actually slow down the Falcon rushing attack, they probably win this one even with Flynn at QB. The Falcons are a bad team with very little to play for. It's going to be cold and windy. The Falcons are a dome-team. They will only want to get this game over with & go home.
I also see the Lions losing to Philly (@ Philly). If that happens along with a Packer win, the race is on, again.

I'm not even thinking about any "race".
It's looking more and more likely that Rodgers is not going to play this season.
Just get a win.
Just one.
One.

Maybe ....let's prove why we went for Lacy instead of Jackson?

Really!?
Maybe this is why...
Steven Jackson CAR 97, YDS 339, AVG 3.5, TDS 3, AGE 30
Eddie Lacy CAR 207, YDS 822, AVG 4.0, TDS 6, AGE 23

We'll see if getting rid of McMillan will light a fire under the rest of these guys. Tackle or go home.

EDS won't play.
What better way to get a contract than to let the team see how "f"'ed they would be without you?
December 06, 2013 at 08:58 pm
Maybe Rodgers should have waited to sign his contract. I would say he is vastly underpaid...
December 06, 2013 at 09:08 pm
He is... Flacco's contract is more than Rodgers. Mainly since he was a FA and Balt had to sign him, while Rodgers had 2 years remaining. Flacco had the leverage w/ Balt and the Packers did w/ Rodgers.
