Crosby wasn’t too shabby.

what about woodson
#4
How about the ref, just for that Matthews roughing penalty?
That call was such a joke. Textbook tackle.
Not to mention the blalant holds on Matthews and Pickett on that last Vikings TD.
Very surprised Starks is there above Crosby, who was perfect on the day (including a team record-tying 58 yarder), while consistently putting the ball out of the endzone, or Woodson, who’s 2 key turnovers gave us two field goals, which also happened to be our margin of victory. Not really liking that pick, but that’s just my two cents.
I get the case for Crosby but Woodson was too inconsistent overall.
As for Starks, his running at the end basically won the game – against a defense that was ranked 4th in the league in stopping the run coming into the game. The o-line wasn’t exactly blowing holes open either. Starks made most of it happen on his own.
Is it just me or does that guy look like an out of control windmill when he runs? Maybe it’s just exaggerated in slo-mo. But if that’s the result, I guess more backs should run that way.
Dude, I hate the slo-mo shots of Starks running. They make me nervous because it looks like he’s carrying the ball so loosely. In two particular slo-mo runs, the defender was inches away from swatting the ball out.
I laughed out loud when I read “out of control windmill”. Perfectly descriptive!
Agree on Woodson…Especially when he jumped the route on the Viks last TD to Jenkins.
Not saying he should get a Good, but for what its worth, I thought Jarret Bush had the play of the day when he downed that punt on the 2 at the end. Fantastic athleticism there. And realistically, it just made that final drive a little too daunting for a Vikes team that was surging at the time.
He didn’t appear to be a liability in coverage either
They threw deep on him one time and I didn’t even know it was him during the play because for once his back wasn’t to the ball. When the pass fell incomplete I saw the 24 and was as surprised/excited as Jennings to Edgar in the SB “Jarret BUSH makin plays!”
Lots of “goods”, but my favorite was one good play – Tramon Williams’ solo open-field tackle on Adrian Peterson. Beautiful.
And Tramon’s broken up pass down the left sideline where he jumped and simply knocked the ball out of the receivers’ hands.
What about the kick to balls? That was completely uncalled for!
+1
Agree on Walden 100%. AP took him to school yesterday, and he’s offering just about nothing in pass rush.
It’s a shame, I was hoping he wouldnt continue to grow this year, but we really haven’t seen anything from him that makes you think he’s going places.
He had a great hit on Ponder on that fourth quarter touchdown pass to Jenkins IIRC
Get Vic So’oto in there MM!!!
Jared Allen = even uglier than Ragnar
Out with Ragnar and in with Garth from the Capital One commercials!!
Jared Allen is a pretty laid back and overall cool guy. We’re all lucky to be watching him play and goof around in the NFL
Rewatch the last run by Starks. The blocking on the play was amazing- line, TE’s, FB and receiver. 9 blocking 11 perfectly for the win. That’s a good.
Yes – but that drive was more than one play.
Was Peprah on the Bad for losing his helmet twice during the game?
