Finally, Jarett Bush back where he belongs.
Dude - kid is just BRUTAL. He almost made up for it by recovering the onside kick. Almost.
Now we just need to see if Bob Sanders can stay in the ‘Good’ department when he’s not facing a third string QB with crappy receivers.
It was nice to see some pressure on the QB though. And Tramon Williams is filling in for Al Harris nicely.
I was thrilled to see the secondary come with pressure (although it wasn’t disguised very well). You never want to see anyone hurt but it’s probably a good thing for us that Adai and Hart went down for the Colts yesterday. Next week’s game is huge. 4-3 going into the bye after our start and injuries would be sweet. I also think McCarthy prob wanted to bring Harrel back after the bye but it looks like he might not have that luxury with the Pickett injury
Perhaps the best thing I saw yesterday was only 5 penalties and no “killer” penalties. That’s impressive in that stadium.
I watched that entire Colts game and Addai or no Addai, if the Colts passing game is clicking like that we’re going to be in big trouble.
Any word on Rouse’s injury? When is Bigby expected back?
You’re right Keith. It’s a scary thought. I just think it would be scarier with the Colts having healthy backs
Keith - McCarthy said Rouse should be fine for Sunday. No idea on Bigby. And yes - Sunday could get ugly…
I would put Mike McCarthy in the ‘The Good’ column. It was nice to see a game were there were not so many flags on the O-line. There were only a couple false starts, if I am not mistaken. But maybe the ‘12th man’ is overated?
