-Far as I'm concerned the defense were warriors today.
-Props to Starks too.
-Cobb just keeps getting better and better. Still haven't glimpsed his ceiling.
-Glad to see Finley get some success. LOL. If he can do that consistently, he won't HAVE to talk YOTTO type smack.
-Oline didn't look the greatest, but they were going up against a very good DL. Just maintain, dudes.

I would put Tramon Williams in bad/ugly catagory as he looked like he had no idea what the hell he was doing out there.I stated when Woodson went down D would not miss him and they definetly have not missed him nor his penalties.Great looking YOUNG secondary

lolwut? He was on his own (with safety help, yes, but only deep) with Calvin Freaking Johnson most of the game. You do realize that Johnson is almost literally unstoppable, right?

I agree with this, Williams had only underneat responsability and couldn't perform.
I've seen the exact same circumstance, with the Lions actually playing better, and Tramon almost negated Johnson. He's capable of much more.

Agree on Tramon - he looked like a spectator out there! What was he doing on the 53 yard completion to CJ - he never looked for the ball. C'mon man!

He was looking at the ball, but for some reason was trailing Johnson, maybe he had a bad read on it and thought it was underthrown? I dunno.

He never made a move towards the ball or CJ on that play. He was on the outside and looked like he was protecting against an out-move 50 yards downfield.

Yeah - it's the penalties. But his overall play was pretty darn good! He must have had 3 or 4 plays where he just shot the gap and tackled Leshoure in the backfield. The roughing the passer call was a bunch of bologna though.

Agree 100%. Aikman commented too. Middle was open. I don't get how Nelson and Jones disappeared. I saw Driver run a route right into a defender - is that how you get open? C'mon man!

Our starting QB looks downright menacing right now! His onfield postgame interview was classic "Do I need to go on?" And he looked seriously pissed all game long. I think he spent the bye week adding to the chip on his shoulder and this bodes very well for the stretch run and playoffs. An angry QB1 is an unstoppable QB1. This will be the last sub-par offensive performance we will see this season. Also doesn't hurt to have a come from behind victory this time of year. I think this game showed a Packer team evoloving from a "finesse" team to more of a punch you in the mouth team. I'm VERY excited about the Giants game and the month of December.

is anybody else as worried about the O-Line as i am? you have a guard playing right tackle, a backup center playing guard, and an aging center who is clearly deteriorating in front of our eyes. i think this line would be fine for a few games but this is our line through the rest of the year and into the playoffs. now, there is a chance that they could gel in a few more games or TT could bring in some additional help but i would imagine that the guys that are out there are just mediocre to bad. i just hope that rodgers can stay healthy down the stretch. he took some big hits yesterday (of course, many of them were after the plays were over).

They are going up against two great front fours this week and next week. They are going to look rough. As long as the QB comes out the other side uninjured its all good. Better to hold onto Fairly or Suh than to get Rodgers killed. They were good enough to get through it. They will look better during December. Hopefully they will get better too.

On 1st down with 10+ yards to go, the Packers ran 12 times and passed 11.
However, this is the first game this season in which the Packers ran more times than they passed on 2nd down, though it was mostly in the 4-6 yards to go range.

I am. Lang was consistently beat around the edge. He is a decent G he is not a decent T. I'll give EDS a pass because it was his first game and the Lions' DTs are good. But I saw nothing encouraging in his performance. As for Saturday, he is just done. He may be savvy but he is just about useless as a blocker. I never would have thought that Newhouse would be the steadiest performer.

I know you don't always see the plays made in the trenches, but can somebody remember the last time BJ Raji tackled somebody for a loss? Blew up a play? Got after the quarterback?
I realize his ankle has been an issue, I credit him for playing tough, but it sure seems like he's fallen off the last two seasons. Am I the only one sensing this?

I remember one play in particular from yesterday where he got good penetration and then (I think) Moses collided with him and they both fell down. It might have been the play Burnett got the sack?

I actually saw him push the Center back into Staffarts face three or four times yesterday, causing him to have to bail out of the pocket or throw (wildly a time or two) earlier than he wanted to.
Was actually thinking yesterday was one of his better games.
