I did think they were going to give it away in the 4th quarter but they held on. They need to finish with the ball in their hands and 2.00 minutes on the clock.

Should never have allowed that 2nd TD I think now the Packers are better off without Starks and Hyde on the field.

Hard to judge a game in the slippery snow. But MM regressed again and seems like AR joined him going deep when there was nothing there and bypassing open receivers. Sorry to say it but still on the fence about making the playoffs rather than getting a better draft pick. Player injuries just keep mounting. Our WR's will be playing with clubs soon<g>!

BTW - Brady moves into 1st in qb wins, has won four Super Bowls and six AFC Championship Games. AR should have been half there by now. Under Belichik he would have been.

With Belichik as both HC and GM you may be correct. Doubtful Belichick and Ted would have coexisted.

I'm wondering, who would you suggest for Packers and how many seasons Bill Belichick would need if Packers would be able to bring him to Green Bay

That' a fair point. I don't know. But it looks like MM is incapable of change and getting to the SB. So you have to do something. I'm not interested in just getting to the playoffs with this team.

Every game that he does this, it becomes more and more apparent that he does not know how to win. He only know how to play by a plan. He has almost always been terrible at fixing things mid game - like after halftime when the team is down.

You've got a offense that was clicking and you change it back to what was not. How many times can we watch this stupidity? Let him get a 3 score lead and then experiment!!! Unfortunately, yesterday we saw that AR also has his problems with sticking to what works. So this is a big problem too. In theory, we can get rid of MM. But we cannot get rid of AR.

Yep I agree, Pacman. It will be a disaster when they play the Hawks next Sunday I agree with Cow that is the field is dry, they will lay a beating on us and will be over by half time. They look unstoppable. Now that is a talented and well coached team. Do you thin we can trade Ted for Schneider, and Carroll for McMuffin?

Still with the MM patented "lull," but as they used to do, they found a way to win anyway.

Aaron's still passing on open guys to throw deep. We're going nowhere until he gets down with fundamentals.

I saw that and I was really disappointed how weak the reaction of the home crowd was defending one of the Packers sacred institutions.

1. GBP fans should have drenched both the Texans fans and player with whatever they had in their cup.

2. Some fan needed to take one for the team, and kept this from happening in the first place.

3. The Texans fans who pulled this stunt should have gotten their asses kicked so hard, their breath smelled like shoe polish.

Sad day indeed.

A real Ugly stat: Colin Kaepernick throws for a grand total of 4 yards (1/5) and is sacked 5 times. More sacks than yards!!! Nice game Kap!!!!

You're right Doug. I mean with Butkus, Geno Atkins & Co. pressuring him all day I can easily see where 1/5 for 4 yards is not a true barometer of which to judge poor Kap.

The Raiders are more impressive than the Seahorks. Seattle has had a fairly easy schedule.

Say the Packers win next week. Then what? A one-n-done playoff run? What's so great about that?

Seattle won't make the SB. Roger has decided Jerry Jones gets to win it this year.

The OL is weak and the offense is inconsistent as a result. They'll win their division and are in line to get a bye, but someone will exploit that OL and knock them out before they get to the SB.

COW is right. Watched Seattle and they are playing at a higher speed. Even if MM gets his play calling head out of his ass, Russell Wilson will have a field day with our defense. Tough to swallow but true.

Guess you guys missed the seahags playing in Tampa last week. They looked like shit. Carolina is done, D sucks, o-line sucks, show off Cam sucks. We all know how the horks play at home with their crowd. The GB crowd sounded like a morge yesterday, embarrassing. You could hear Ostrich barking out signals plain as day...............WTF!

Tampa is not turning out to be that bad after all, but what they did to Seattle they did without their best interior DL (McCoy) which tells you a lot about the quality of Seattle's OL.

Good: A win!

Bad: 3rd down rush defense. 90% of Texan 3rd down conversions were plus 7 yard runs! At least thats unsustainable.

Ugly: 3rd and 4th and 1 during the entire McCarthy tenure...Got one when it counted today, I guess, but only when they finally stopped running 6 yards outside out of the shot gun to gain -1 yard and went between the tackles with Michael for positive yards.

The Good: Aaron Rodgers, Monty, Jordy, Dean Lowry, Dix and Burnett
The Bad: Starks and Hyde
The Ugly: Run defense on 3rd down

Need to get healthy for Seattle.

Thanks, Since '61

Good: Rodgers (on a bad leg), Montgomery, Ripkowski, Nelson, Lowry, Guion (minus false starts), Ryan, Thomas, Rollins, Gunter, Burnett, Clinton-Dix.

Bad: Mathews injured shoulder, Hyde, Starks,

Ugly: Guion's false starts, Richard Rodgers trying to outrun defenders, sideways and backwards...

Good: Jordy.

Bad: Starks. Hyde. (I sure hope that Ted gets over his man-crush on these two.)

Ugly: Offensive game plan. Third down defense. Tackling, if you can call it that.

good, they played a weak sister team in the elements
ugly, the fact that datone and perry, both teds one picks need 5 others to put together a pass rush
bad - the standings. Wild card is looking problematice and the Lions are looking like Champs. Getting healthy and not making mistakes.
