Cow has been sorta reasonable these last few weeks. I hope it lasts, when he's not mired in acrimony he can say some insightful things.

I agree on Cow. He's much more intelligent than this Stroh guy who thinks everything he says is the gospel. Cow has been dead on accurate as of late whereas this Stroh guy has been off the mark dead wrong on a consistent basis. It's honestly hard to disagree with Cow lately.

I think another reason he's been "sorta reasonable" lately is because he can't really pick on anything anymore. He knows deep down that TT has every base of this team covered. He realizes this team is headed for greatness. The only thing left to pick on Teddy T for is bad drafts in 2011 and 2012? I call that a win!!

Can only rip on the ilb's , perry, and d.jones for so long. It is what it is. Can't do nothin' about it.

2 things, though...

1-McCarthy has no excuse with this offensive personnel. If there's ever a game where they come out looking stale... It's all on him. I'm gonna bet there are at least 5 games where it happens... He can't get out of his own way sometimes.

2-watching shazier brought back my thoughts that TT shoulda' done everything possible to go get him. Yes- I would have sacrificed Clinton Dix and Adams to have shazier.

Nerd's picture

Only thing keeping this team from winning the SB is injuries. This team stays healthy, and they'll win it all. MARK IT DOWN!

Not with this D.
Sorry.
Not enough good players on that side of the ball.

" I would have sacrificed Clinton Dix and Adams to have Shazier."

Me too.

me too big time

Dix is living up to my expectations. (I had very low expectations for Hasean.) I know he looks like Charles Woodson out there. He does look the part. But with his 4.6 speed and he's the 2014 version of Charles Woodson, at best.

Sorry homers

Jordy, Cobb, Boykins, Janis, White, Harper, Adams & a wouldbe Abbrederis? You can't keep 8 receivers. Davonte Adams just isn't necessary.

Trade Davante to the Browns, Now.

I'd trade our top 4 picks Dix, Adams, Thornton, and this phenom Richard Rogers for Ryan Shazier.

This whole Richard Rogers thing has gottn blowin way out of proportion. Over Rated.

Jeez, you people kill me. The damn season hasn't even started and you're ready to summarize HHCD's and Adams' rookie season already!

Hey GoldDigger... Why don't you just keep your mouth shut and comment w/o bringing me into it. Your entitled to your idiotic and ludicrous opinions or course. But bringing me into it makes you a troll. And much like another who was recently banned.

Seems your reincarnating yourself w/ many new names.

Something that I feel like hasn't gotten enough coverage- Mike Neal getting some snaps as a down lineman. I kinda assumed those days were over with the weight loss. Maybe with the Worthy trade/Guion injury/lack of much from Thornton, he'll get more snaps as a DL this year

ben's picture

I've always liked Mike Neal at DE. He was abnormally productive as a 3-4 DE rushing to the inside of Matthews. He's a pretty good OLB, but I think his optimal value is inside.

But of Peppers, Neal, & Perry; I'm starting to think Perry might best be suited inside. Perry plays strong and has an excellent bull-rush. He has a great base and did 35 reps at the combine. He holds the point as good as anybody.

With Matthews, Peppers, Perry, & Neal all at OLB, Matthews will play be playing some MLB, and 1 or all of the other 3 will be playing some inside.

(This weeks G.B.U. comments summarized): They suck! How could they do that!?!?! Especially since they could've done that instead..
