The good - seeing that our team can win even if the offense struggles.
---
The bad - needing 4 ints to win a game.
---
The ugly - Jay Cutler. I mean, look at him.

I was going to add Cutler to the list of Ugly, but Jayme beat me to it. You can add Jolly's pick to The Redonkulous.

I wonder how much you thought about putting Collins on the list... he did give up the only touchdown. Or maybe it was another safety.. I don't remember.

DD had a couple of first down grabs, and his "drops" were not on him. I'll give you that, regardless the bad throw, a stud needs to come up with one of those catches... but why does he merit "bad"?

I vote 'ugly' for every idiot 'Packer' fan sporting a number 4 jersey in the stands. Way to support the current roster....

Matt Forte: 55 yards on 22 carries for 2.5 yards per carry. That had more to do with the victory then anything else. Outstanding run defense and the screen pass defense was also outstanding.

other good - Jennings and special teams

other bad - Ron Winters

On a side note. Cullen Jenkins is a beast. Matt Forte must have a sore neck today.

I love Jolly's interception. He pulls it in while falling to the ground. Then he gets up and starts running!!

If the blocking was amazing and he ran all the way...

(one minute later)

...can you picture Jolly doing a Lambeau leap?

Let's not forget about the ST play. It was outstanding. Against arguably the best ST in the league, we delivered. Except for 1 missed FG and 1 short punt, we overall delivered. But I don't know why Kampman is in the good. He was okay, good in covering, very good against the run, but he didn't generate so much pressure, IMO.

Just have to add Nelson to my "The Good" list because of the good job he did returning punts. I'm sure people would go back to the dropped ball he had during the 4th quarter but for me personally, that doesn't even begin to put a shadow on the effort he showed as our main punt returner in this game. And after today, I wouldn't mind him getting the job officially. I wouldn't mind it one bit.

I think the Aarons are all discombobulated. Rodgers was pretty good last night, and Kampman kinda meh.

Did someone really believe we kept Wynn for his receiving skills? Over Sutton? What color is the sky in your world?

I dunno, Chrome, i was disappointed with Nelson's drops. Agree about the returns, though.

Would have to disagree with Rodgers, without time it can be almost impossible to be accurate

bucky - What game were you watching? Rodgers was constantly over and underthrowing receivers and his rhythm was off all night. (By constantly I mean at least 3 times.) Kampman really was all over the place. No glaring mistakes, a lot of really decent plays, always around the ball. Just because a guy doesn't get the tackle doesn't mean that he didn't make the play.
---
Another ugly to add to the list - Donovan McNabb's injury in the Eagles/Panthers game. While this isn't a Packers specific ugly, it does illustrate a point about what happens if a QB runs too much.

Add me to the list of Chillar fans from last night. All preseason, this offense had seen zero adversity. Basically zero failure. And the first they see of this is on national TV against the Bears and Cutler. There's a lot to pick at (like the O line just refuses to be consistently decent no matter who's on it), but overall...to respond to their first tough test (VERY tough) in the way they did is huge.

Had Chillar in over Kampman, but after the rough go of it Kampman had here at CHTV over the offseason, I thought I'd give him the nod. ;)

We have all been so spoiled with this hugely underrated classy individual that we are used to him always making those spectacular catches. Can't really fault him for missing a few.

Maybe Traemon W in the good also. One pick and dropped two on the same drive early in the game

You're right, we must have been watching different games. The one I was watching, this quarterback in green wearing number 12 put up a passer rating of 92.0, despite wearing Bears' linemen most of the night. And despite a lack of support from his WR corps. I think he had a hell of a game.

As for Kampman- he didn't suck, but he was only slightly more notable than Brady Poppinga. I was impressed with Clay Matthews, though. And Chillar was all over the place.

As for Driver- he had a bad night. It happens. Doesn't mean he's a bad WR, especially since we've gotten used to him being so reliable, but if you're gonna credit him for all the good, you ought to be willing to call him out for the bad.

I'm really surprised no one mentioned Charles Woodson. I thought he had a off night. He was beat deep with the Knox throw that almost went for a touchdown. Then was beat along with Collins on the Devin Hester TD. Then on the WR screen to Hester he blew right by Woodson before Hawk had to come over and knock him out of bounds. Overall, I don't think he had a good night.

Yeah, Chillar lit it up like crazy. I like him better than Barnett.
What about Swain. Huge heads up play on that fake punt.

Saw Chillar make that leap over Wolfe in person. He'd definitely be in the 'good'.
