Yesterday, we linked to Packer Update and one of their anonymously sourced scoops, writing that talks between the Packers and the agent for Ryan Grant were expected to heat up soon.
And lo and behold, in today’s Green Bay Press Gazette, Pete Dougherty has an article about Grant’s agent being ‘hopeful’ that talks are about to heat up. Coincidence? Or does the Update have some real inside juice? (Or is Dougherty the source?)
Regardless, it’s a great scoop and welcome news, as I think Grant will be the key to the offense this season. (No matter who the quarterback is…)
