Packer Transplants LIVE Tonight
By Aaron Nagler on Dec 01, 2009 with 9 Comments
That’s right, back from sickness, the holiday and a Packer-less weekend, Packer Transplants is back live tonight at 9PM EST/8PM EST. Tonight we are thrilled to welcome John Eisenberg, author of the new book “That First Season: How Vince Lombardi Took the Worst Team in the NFL and Set It on the Path to Glory” which I found on the shelf at my local Borders and promptly devoured. Highly recommended. We’ll be speaking with John about the book and his work writing for this week’s Packer opponent over at BaltimoreRavens.com
We’ll also preview the Ravens game with Chris Pika of WNST and WNST.net in Baltimore. Chris worked in PR for the NFL, basically was the Jeff Blumb of the Saints for six years, and now covers the NFL and the Ravens for WNST. And he’s giving us the time of day…why exactly? No idea – but we’re thrilled to have him on to preview the big Monday night match up with the Ravens. So we’ll have the Ravens game well covered. Even if Jarrett Bush doesn’t.
So be sure to join Corey, Brian, Holly and myself along with the best Packer bloggers and Packer fans from around the world chatting all things Green and Gold tonight live at 9pm EST/8PM CST on Packer Transplants brought to you by Cheesehead Nation.

That is a good book.
“We’ll have the Ravens game well covered. Even if Jarrett Bush doesn’t.”
Glad to see your sense of humor is alive and well, Aaron. Although, I wish this were more of a joke than it truly is.
I LOVE the Jarrett Bush knock…I’d love it more if it weren’t so true…
Hey guys, for a stark contrast to Mr. Eisenberg’s book, maybe you could make comparisons between the Weis Irish and the McCarthy Packers if you need some time filler. Both coaches’ buddhas are almost as big as their egos. They’re both waiting for that heart attack. They both think players should flock to their towns based on historical reputation alone. The Packers won’t sign any free agent with so much as a parking ticket (read: we need Packer people); the Irish have their stupidly high admission requirements. The Irish boosters are living in 1940…Packers old time fans are living in 1965.

And to complete the circle, let’s discuss hiring Weis as O Coordinator in Green Bay!!!

See you all tonight!
I’m a 1st time bloger on this sight but have been watching the broadcast for awhile. It rocks GO PACK GO !!!!
Which of the coaches from Bill’s patriots have been successful after they have left New England? I am just questioning weather or not Weis was just in the right place at the right time.
I think the packers should consider signing ex-Jet CB Justin Miller. He’s got 5yrs experience, can return kicks and was a one time pro-bowler. I’m just saying why not.
Lol. ‘Stupidly high admissions requirements’, you sounds slightly bitter.
X DR.AW,
Was that you on Green and Gold Today asking for Miller?
