Of course its a slow start as LeFleur tries to temper the environment to fit his QB. This guy is not coming out of the gate throwing down field and what tossing a pick six or interception to start off the game?
As one analyst pointed out and I tend to agree, they know from practices and game play what they have and dont have in Love now. Its not a mystery.
The game plan is conservative run run screen run run screen. Thats as slow a start alright.
The bigger concern should be is LeFleur really going to try and make it work with Love or are they willing to face reality and move on. The later is a slap to Gutt for his draft and he signs the checks.

I read Myers did not practice. The best thing would be him rest and GB put the best 5 OL on the field and see who next man up is. Unfortunately BAK went down and the sum of the rest of the parts of the OL are not good enough to have a decent run game without 3 TE's on the field to block. From film the Offense is leaning the direction of the play, etc.....That's how poorly we are showing at the NFL level. You would think a decent H.S Coach would have ingrained not doing that and becoming second nature in College. That's what sprints are for: IN PRE-SEASON. ST Coach is the only one who shows he can work with rookies and get proper results.

It's pretty clear to me that the person to blame is Brian Gutekunst. I would rate his drafts so far:

2018: D
2019: C
2020: F
2021: F
2022: Too early to tell, but likely about B or C. And they had an extra #1 and #2 pick from the Adams trade
2023: Too early to tell, but trending toward about a B

Wolf won his Super Bowl in year 5 of his tenure; Ted Thompson in year 6. Gute is on year 6, his drafting record is abysmal, and the team's arrow is pointing straight down. Not to mention the disasterous contract he gave to Aaron Rodgers. Bakhtiari's contract was bad also, but I will blame bad luck on that one.

I sure hope Murphy puts a competent GM in charge soon.
