Opposition Research: St. Louis Rams

Holly does some digging on our upcoming opponent. This is gonna be our new mid-week special feature at The Other 31. Wow. If you don't check this article out - you are not a die-hard. Seriously.

Great write up, Holly. Leading up to the Bengals game I was complaining that the Bengals 'D' was not getting enough respect after finish 12th the prior year in total 'D' and only improving in the offseason.
I can make no such comment/compliment this week leading up to the Rams game. There is nothing that should sneak up on the Packers this week.

If the Packers lose this week, I will officially hit the panic button.

As I commented to Holly, if the Packers blow this one, I would not want to be TT's dog.

Agreed, Aaron. The Rams are in the middle of a complete overhaul of that team -- there are only 3 players left that are really "Rams veterans," having been drafted and brought up in the program. I actually listened to the preview of the game on the Turf Show Radio podcast last night, and I got indignant at their confidence that this could be the Rams' first win this season. Their fans, at least, see a lot to like about the match up. Of course, they also think they can cover Jennings and Driver and keep Rodgers off the field all game. A little hope can be a dangerous thing.

Nice Shawshank toss-in at the end there. ;)

Awesome feature - saves me from having to find st. louis fan sites. i'm terrified of steven jackson and someone needs to tell our defense that while they're doing a great job at playing 'touch' football, at this level they play 'tackle' football.

Dusty - the Rams sites aren't bad -- Turf Show Times does a nice job, especially with the daily links posts. Their radio podcast doesn't hold a candle to Packer Transplants, of course, but few things do.

Aaron - totally unplanned.
