Oh, Give Me A Freekin\' Break

Favre continues on his quest to undermine and destroy any and all in his path.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Everything is here.

  • Airing out private conversations with a team employee? Check.
  • Complaining about the Packers use of the media? (Favre complaining about 'planted stories' in the media is hilarious) Check.
  • Complete arrogance sprinkled with some 'good teammate' fodder for those who are still deluded that this bumpkin really doesn't want to go play for our hated rival? Check.

The Aaron Rodgers jerseys I bought for Madeline and myself look better and better...

This reminds me, I need to purchase a new jersey for the upcoming season now that Brett looks like he's a goner.

Hmmm... Daryn College or Justin Harrell?

But seriously, I think an Atari Bigby would be pretty sweet.

If you're going defense, you could do worse than Aaron Kampman. Talk about a stellar individual and a great Packer.

I'm tellin' ya. Black Sharpie, blank number four jersey, scribble Marcus Allen on the back, solved.

Although, I was leaning heavily towards AJ Hawk since I already have a nice arsenal of Under Armor gear.

Click Clack.

I've been reading all the Packer blogs for as long as I can remember and this is my first post. I offer a point that may be a little different. A few years ago I had the chance to play in a celebrity golf tournament with a lot of active and retired football players, including a few Packers (not Favre). My takeaway after that event was disappointment. It's like these guys never grew up. They are exactly the same as the jocks I hung around with in H.S. (yes, I was one of them but grew up a little after stopping sports midway thru college). The players at this golf event still can't get over themselves. It's all about them. Now, imagine if those guys were as famous as Favre. Chronically aged, but not emotionally aged, they would not be capable of a truly objective perspective on what this does to an organization and neither is Favre. It's time for him to go somewhere else so the adults in management can run the TEAM (emphasis on team). As hard as this is for me to say (because I adore the guy), good-bye Brett. See you in a few years when your emotional age catches up with your chronological age.

Perfectly stated Andrew. Thanks. (And thanks for breaking your silence here at Cheesehead TV. Hope to hear more from you in the future...)
