Oddsmaker: Packers Now at 10-1 to Win Super Bowl

Odds released by online bookmaker Bovada.lv on Thursday have the Green Bay Packers at 10-1 to win the Super Bowl.

The Packers' odds of winning the Super Bowl have decreased with each update since originally being released immediately after Super XLVIII.

On February 3, the Packers odds of winning the Super Bowl were at 16-1, on May 12—following free agency and the NFL Draft—they went down to 12-1, and now at the opening of training camp, they've decreased once again.

Only three teams have shorter odds to win the world championship: the Denver Broncos at 13-2, the Seattle Seahawks at 7-1 and the San Francisco 49ers at 15-2.

The Packers odds to win the NFC Conference, meanwhile, are 6-1, and their odds to win the NFC North are 10-11.

"Only four teams have shorter odds ... Broncos ... Seahawks ... 49ers"

What's the forth team? Or, are there only three?

I just got back from Las Vegas on July 7th. The Vegas Sports Books have the Packers at 7-1 to win the SB, down from 15-1. There are 3 teams ahead of them in this order. Denver is on top at 4-1, then Seattle at 5-1, then SF at 11/2, GB is 7-1 & then New England at 8-1.

For the NFC Championship, Vegas has Seattle on top at 5-2, then GB & SF at 7-2. This was as of July 7th. I doubt very much that GB has Gone Up in odds since then, if anything, they have dropped some more. I'll be there again Aug 20th. I'll be surprised if they are still 7-1. All the Top Teams will drop in odds as the season gets nearer, baring any major injury's.

GB was still a 5-6 pt Underdog at Seattle opening night. I believe that will be 3- 3 1/2 by Game Time.
