That's great news. I heard earlier this week he was walking in regular shoes, no limp or anything.
He is an ascending player. Would be great to see him playing sooner then later.

Now that Perry is back, the Vikings will be no match for the Packers. I agree with you now Jayme. I only wish I had known this earlier this morning than I would not have made those men vs. women football comments and caused such controversy.

I still think seeing Perry out there on Sunday would be a stretch. Coaches usually like to get guys out on the practice field to see how they respond before letting them suit up. Hayward has been practicing for about two weeks and it was just announced he might play on Sunday.

Agree - I think this is more a sign he'll be back for the Chicago game. I am very pleased and excited Perry is practicing, but at the same time I don't want, nor do I think MM or TT will allow, Perry to rush back from this, especially because it's a foot injury.

Or you could just "man up," offer a real apology and ask Nagler to pull you comments... ;-)

Apologize? for what? stating my opinion that MOST women are less knowledgeable than men when it comes to football? Never!!

If Nagler is to pull anything, I would ask him to prematurely pull Jayme's article titled The Vikings Will Be No Match For The Packers until after the climax of the game.

My fear is Leslie Frazier is using this article as we speak as a motivational instrument to beat the Packers. If I were him I would use it too. That's why I want to see it prematurely pulled. He can put it back up on Monday but for the love of God, it's not a good thing to say about your wounded opponent. Just my opinion.

Don't want to get into this too much anymore but Leslie Frazier doesn't need to read Cheezehead tv. All it takes is some Vikings fan, player, coach to read it and send it directly to him thru an email or text. I pray nobody sees it. It's up to Nagler to pull it not me.

I'm just trying to prevent the Packers from losing and covering all the bases. They don't have to do it but I don't see how pulling it for just a little bit would hurt.

Longshanks,

I got it! You want to prevent the Packers from losing, you should be reading Vikings blogs and sending posts to players and coaches. Now THAT would be covering all your bases.

Jayme, I see your laughing now. Guess what? that was my intent. Mission accomplished. Don't take what I say so serious. You really believe that I believe that your article is going to affect the outcome of the game? lol Come on man!!

Ok Jayme, I had my fun with this. No more joking around with you. I realize now that there's just too many people that take pretty much everything a person says serious so sorry for trying to have a little fun with you. Your article will not I repeat will not have an affect on this Packers game. I hope you are right and we are no match for them though I have my doubts.

Take care,

You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

As if the availability of Nick Perry has anything to do with your asinine views on gender?

For the record, I'm making carnitas for the game this weekend and I will stab anyone who doesn't compliment them.

I posted similar feelings. I was worried 'bust' but he is showing first round abilities all of a sudden.
I think he likes this new defensive scheme better. Its' working better than what they tried last year.

Even if he only plays 20-25 plays this week, he'll be a real bonus. Starting 2 rookie OLB's was giving me heartburn.

Good to hear Perry practiced. I doubt he plays this week tho. Even tho it was probably a minor hairline type fracture he'll probably be worked in slowly this and next week. I kinda figured it was fairly minor considering he played a few more snaps in the 2nd half.

What encourages me is, he is starting to play like a first round pick. I was concerned with last years partial performance and this years pre-season. He just seems like he knows what to do now and that makes his decision making faster and him faster to react.
Me thinks he is eager to play.
