NFL Chalk Talk - Detroit Lions Offense vs San Francisco 49ers Defense

Andrew Garda breaks down the first of two 'Plays to Watch' for NFL's Week 2. This week the featured game is the Detroit Lions vs the San Francisco 49ers. In part one, AG breaks down how the Niners might attack the Lions and how Detroit might defend against it.

So I'll be tackling a new feature here at CHTV (because you know I don't have enough to do already) based on an idea we toyed with at Bleacher Report which I think works in a longer format.

Each week I will choose a game and break down how each team might approach attacking their opponent's weaknesses based on previous games.

For example, today I have chosen to break down some of the Detroit Lions game against the San Francisco 49ers. For this first video (of two) I have the Niners on defense and the Lions on offense. I break down how each might attack the other armed with nothing but a marker board and my sense of humor.

We'll have another video either this afternoon or tomorrow flipping the script—with the Lions on defense and Niners on offense.

This is, obviously, a work in progress and at some point some of it might be integrated into The Hard Count as well. As I get used to it, I'll be shortening them unless you guys think they work at 3-4 minutes.

With that in mind, here is the inaugural edition of NFL Chalk Talk (or whatever we end up calling it). Enjoy!
