In this week’s installment, Corey and I agree on almost everything. It’s disgusting.
I didn’t find it disgusting. I found it entertaining, refreshing, and agreeable. I found your site through the comments exchanges on Bedard’s Blog, and I will be a regular here, methinks.
Concerning loathing the Vikings: I’m a transplanted Wisconsinite who is forced against his will to live in Minnesota (there’s no other explanation). You think you hate the Vikings? Where do I begin? Not only do they play in the worst venue for any event anywhere at any time, and I’m including a ping pong tournament on a day with a blizzard, and not only do they have a tendency to employ ungrateful whiners (Randy Moss is the prime example, but there are plenty more), but the Vikings fans are the worst I’ve ever seen. When the Vikings lose two games, all the Vikings shirts, car flags, etc. simply disappear. When the Vikings win two in a row (those days are far off, thankfully), it all comes back out and everybody talks playoffs.
Being a diehard Packers fan living in the Twin Cities really stinks. The worst thing? Because of the schedule and the blackout rules, I’ll be lucky if I get to see 5 games this year, and the only radio station that carries the Packers is 30 miles away and low-powered. If the sun goes down, the signal dies to the point that I can’t get it.
Oh, and Ragnar? Speaking as a fellow emigree from Milwaukee, somebody oughtta renounce his Wisconsin citizenship and charge him back taxes or something.
Anyway, keep up the good work, guys. Much appreciated.
