Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson made the NFL Network's countdown of the top 100 players in the NFL, checking in at No. 80 on the list as revealed on last night's programming.
Bob Wolfley of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel provides several comments from Nelson, including the following...
On if he believes that having a deep wide receiver corps allows for certain players to specialize on what they do well: “I do. We do that rotation where coaches pick and choose what spots we’re going to be in. Obviously Greg (Jennings) gets a lot of attention, and even with Jermichael (Finley) inside. I enjoy being on the backside getting a lot of plays with the one-on-one coverage and then able to maybe get a deep ball with some big play-action where I had a lot of success last year. It’s great that the coaches have this amount of talent and are able to utilize it to the best of their abilities and get us in the best (position) to make plays.”
