Best - Committing to the Running game. Playing a smashing brand of football is a necessity in the winter months.

Worst - That challenge to me was the worst. I don't mind it, if he was using it as a momentum killer, or if he was told that he for sure he was going to win the call.
For me though, he needed the challenge thing just speaks to how poorly he has been winning challenges.

Overall great job, in winning a tight battle against a division rival on the road.

Because of how the tiebreakers fall I really think these last two games where a lot more important to win than the upcoming Patriots game. In fact from a realistic perspective instead of an emotional one I would say the Patriots game is the tied with the Bills game for the least important remaining game.

Nah, it's just one game. You think the Packers have zero chance of beating Detroit at Lambeau Field. Did you see Detroit offense these least two games? I think you are the worst predictor in the history of football predictions. Hearing you predict Detroit winning out is music to my ears.

Really! What QB are they gone to use? You have to score points, Detroit has a problem doing that. The teams that Detroit plays have a huge up-side of scoring far more than Detroit. That's the facts Jack.

Chicago can score. If you just happen to get Jay with a clean diaper and a fresh blankey then he can be scary. I mean, lets not forget, he does have Alshon, Marshall, and Forte. Just look at the stats when he doesn't throw an INT in the 1st half.

Tampa is starting to find a groove. Offensively they have the players to put up points. Can they stop Calvin Johnson? Can anyone?

Minnesota...well theyre just Minnesota.

Detroit is similar to Chicago. They both have the playmakers and QBs to put up 40+ points a game. They also have QB's who can throw 3 INTs in a game too. Its a hot or cold, hit or miss, you aint got Aaron Rodgers kinda thing!

PRIDE & GLORY!

"Detroit easily wins all of those."

Sounds like a bet to me. You take Detroit to win all four, and I'll take the field to win at least one. Loser never posts again. You're clearly going all in given the sheer intensity of your posts this week, so why not?

Then again the Bears beat your Niners. If that can do that, they can beat the Lions. The Lions haven't had many easy wins this year. It is unlikely, but given how poor the Detroit offense is playing, they don't have a huge margin of error.

And again you assume that other teams are going to play consistently good football down the stretch. Most likely a few teams will, and a few won't. Someone will falter. It could be the Packers, it could be another team.

It's very unlikely the Seahawks and Niners would get to 11-4, since they play each other twice. If they split those two, they'd both have to win all the other games. Also, Arizona plays the Seahawks and Niners. Every team can't win every game. The Packers will waltz in, even if they don't win the division.

No. No. No.

What's quite possible (likely?) is GB winning every remaining game other than Sundays' and getting EFFIN HOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE.

Cow. You are a hater.

I dunno. I could definitely see Matthew "I've never beaten a winning team on the road ever...in my whole career" Stafford coming to Lambeau in week 17 and beating the highest scoring home team in history with the playoffs on the line.

I don't think so Evan, not this year. Detroit's offense is really struggling this year. They rank 21st in total yards and 28th in scoring, just 17.9 points a game and Stafford has just 13 TD passes and 10 picks for the season. I know Stafford can put up yards but they've been pretty bad on offense all year. Lambeau in December, not this year. (Yes, I remember 2011)

Ill wait.

In one word: unknown. The Patriots are playing better than any team in football right now, and their dismantling of the Broncos and Lions (who had the #1 defense prior to yesterday) are more impressive than any of the Packer wins. But the Packers are playing good enough football to be somewhere in the conversation for the #2 to #5 range right now. In a league where even the worst teams are capable of beating good teams on any given Sunday, that more than gives us a chance on Sunday. Maybe it's 50-50 probability of a win, maybe its 40-60. But the Packers definitely have a shot. It's never as black-and-white as you like to make it sound.

But it won't matter come playoff seeding time. GB still wins the division and gets the #1 seed.

Packers CAN beat anyone, anywhere. Doesn't mean they WILL beat the Patriots Sunday, just means they CAN beat the Patriots Sunday.

Will the win Sunday? We will find out on Sunday. That's what makes the games exciting to watch.
All great teams lose games. There has only been 1 perfect team. Packers won their last Super Bowl with a 10-6 record. Teams lose games.

Now if your still predicting the Packers to get blown out by the Patriots like you did to the Bears and Eagles, keep doing it. Because it worked out well for you in those predictions.
If I was a betting man, I would listen to your predictions, then go to Vegas and do the exact opposite. I would probably be pretty rich right now.

Yes, but what's it matter? If the Packers win on Sunday you'll come up with a bunch of BS reasons why the Pats gave them the game.

FUCK YES!

Where the hell do people get that these Pats are the be-all end-all? They're playing good football from top to bottom, handed a few good teams some humble pie... but when did the good lords GREEN BAY FUCKING PACKERS become chopped liver? These two teams lead the league in point differential, I believe the good lords GREEN BAY FUCKING PACKERS are at, or near the lead in TO differential, Pats are probably up there too... they're both good teams. But that good team has to come to this good teams house, where until proven otherwise, this good team is the bully.

In closing...

And the 8-3, 2 seed Packers are now chopped liver to you, got it.

Lets see, someone said no way the Pack beats the Bears and NO WAY they have a chance against the Eagles. Vegas is giving the Patriots 3 points. So its a home field 3. The Pack is great at home. I'll bet the pats to cover, Packers 45 Pats 42.

It's really too early to mess with the playoff machine, but hey...I had some free time. And after spending some free time with it, it is my opinion the Packers basically need to go 3-2 (or better, of course) the rest of the way. Aside from "everybody goes 11-5," I couldn't even find another scenario where the Pack would miss the playoffs at 11-5. There probably are some out there, but I do know there are a lot of scenarios that put them in at 11-5.

SEA, AZ, and SF all ending at 11-5 is pretty far-fetched IMO. SF and SEA (who have both had considerable periods of playing like crap) would have to go 4-1 each the rest of the way. SEA's remaining schedule is brutal. SF's would be more conducive to finishing 4-1 compared to SEA's, but SF has been a soap opera all year. It's possible, but there's a lotta season left, too.

Actually COW Both teams pretty even in points scored and points given up , the difference is Rodgers better numbers than Brady , plus home game for the Pack so if Rodgers is in a zone then yes the Packers will win .

Via Jason Wilde: @jasonjwilde: #Packers' points vs. number of plays is an anomaly. #Patriots have #NFL-high 357 points on 757 plays. Packers with 354 points on 663 plays.

Speaks volumes to how efficient the Packers have been. Very, very efficient with the ball.

The Bengals suck , the lolions have no offense, and the Broncos aren't who we thought they were. The Packers beat the Phins on their turf in the heat. Every win is a good win. Ask the Raiders. Lions popped the cork, their perfect 0-16 season is safe.

Packers can beat Patriots as long as they can stop Dan Connolly from a 71 yard kickoff return. *crosses fingers*
