MM is a crappy head coach who was blessed with superior players and a DC who was good for two years until he implemented so many "improvements" his players forgot about fundamentals as they focused on many new fancy schemes.

Time for a change and make sure Slocum goes to a new team.........preferably Detroit, Chicago or Minnesota.

Eddie Lacy ranked first in the NFL last year in ball security. He had one fumble. Of the running backs with only one fumble, he had the most carries. So far ball security hasn't been a problem for Lacy.

As a note, Scott Wells and EDS both have two fumbles so far this year: Linsley has one fumble.

Yeah, turnovers are never good, but I can't remember that many glaring cases of bad ball handling that I'd call this a major problem.

Something to avoid, but not a real problem ... yet.
