I love this. Mike McCarthy pulling no punches at Wednesday's annual Welcome Back Luncheon.
And for anyone fretting over whether or not this gives Chicago "bulletin board material," if this is what it takes for the Bears to get up for an opening weekend game with the Packers, they're in worse shape than we thought.
Roll on Week 1.

And we WILL kick that team's ass. Jordy or no, their defense is in trouble. Rodgers is going to light them up.
I guarantee it.

Why give the Bears any extra motivation? It's not smart football.

Pretty sure it is fake. You can see a glitch right before he says it.

I would be tickled pink if this were someone in Chicago who doctored video to motivate the Bears. I don't really believe that's the case, but how flippin sad would that be?

I talked to the Packers. It's 100% real.

They can have all the bulletin board material in the world. They will take the field with an inferior squad, and nothing Coach says will help that. Their only saving grace is the #1 offense hasn't really had a chance to gel this preseason, so... #12 probably won't hit the bench til the 4th quarter, instead of the 3rd.
The bears still suck.

I have nothing against a coach talking it up, but now he'd better back it up. Not fond of Rex Ryanism.

TT :
With all due respect, Coach M hardly needs the blessing or encouragement of a reality TV star turned politician to make A WHOLLY APPROPRIATE COMMITMENT TO UTTERLY DESTROY THE HATED (former) RIVAL on September 13. GO PACK GO !!!

This comment was made during a Packer Welcome Back Luncheon, not to a reporter or during a broadcast. While I cringed when I heard about it, I bet most coaches say something similar to each other, their players, in conversation etc etc.
While there's nothing to suggest we won't beat the Bears, history suggests there are no guarantees either. Ya just never know when it's between rivals.
I don't make predictions b/c I hate being wrong.
I hope he can back it up too!!!!

WTF.... You idiots? When will you so called "fans" remember rivalry a team versus a team instead of city vs city? Ok , dont like chicago much? hah! Keep building cow pastures and developing cheese curds, we make skyscrapers and museums and financial centers, you turds. So fine, in Football, kick the Bears Ass... Not "Chicagos Ass" you sick fucks....... And then i will remember riivalry... Because the stupid little crap hole Greenbay has done exactly what for the world? F- your fag coach. Go Bears

1st, "What a game by JAMES JONES" Way to go JJ.
2ond, You can take the entire GB Defensive Backfield, put them on a bus, & drive them somewhere else. NONE of them are any good. Shields, Dix, NONE OF THEM. They can't Defend the pass, & they can't tackle. Put that USELESS Defensive Co-ordinate we have, behind the wheel. What keeps him in GB.
I think our Offense is Great!! It's a Shame we can't put a Defense together.
Once again, Way to go JJ. AR we couldn't do it without you. LVT
