Last year the Vikings had even more players in the probowl and didn't even make the playoffs.
Oh, and not to be a nitpicker, but Jared Allen was not acquired as a free agent.

Consider that nit picked - you are correct of course, as he was traded for. Thanks.

Same point. Three were acquired as free agents-- Hutchinson, Winfield and Pat Williams. Kevin Williams and Adrian Peterson were first round draft picks (make what you will of that). Allen was traded for. Also, Hutchinson received, by far, the largest contract for any guard in history. Even with the repeated Pro Bowl nods, I think it's debateable whether he's actually worth the amount of money they pay him.

Hutch is worth every penny.

For every Pro Bowl free agent, there's an overpaid bust.
That said, sign Albert Haynesworth.

Maybe Hutchinson is worth the price, with home run hitter Adrian Peterson in the backfield.

Dale Z - Hardly, as the Giants and Cowboys proved last year. But it does somewhat speak to the talent level of a team. Just thought it was interesting how that talent was acquired.
