Longtime Packers Area Scout Takes Job With Jets

Lee Gissendaner had been with the Packers since 2001.

Demovsky has the goods:

The Green Bay Packers lost a longtime member of their scouting department shortly after the draft when Lee Gissendaner took a job with the New York Jets.

Gissendaner, who had been with the Packers since 1998, will be a national scout for the Jets. He had been an area scout for the Packers since 2001.

While you hate to see the Packers lose anyone from their talented personnel group, it's always great to see a guy advance in the buisness. Making the jump from area to national is a great opportunity for Gissendaner. Hoping for nothing but the best for him down the road.

The Packers still have three area scouts and two pro scouts on staff. There's a good chance we see Chad Brinker moved up the ranks, or maybe Glenn Cook, though it may still be a bit early for that possibility.

Time to jump ship. The Packers have been moving in the wrong direction, especially the last 2 years.

Funny how the Lebron James of football has only 1 championship in 11 years. And at this rate, if he stays with the Packers, he will finish his career with just 1.

Packer fans here seem to think thats just peachy, Lebron James would have considered that an absolute failure by now.

With the last 2 drafts, the window has pretty much closed. Sorry Aaron.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
