He comes in competes with Brohm and Flynn, someone gets hurts somewhere and that team needs depth?
I am not high on Simms either, although his numbers when healthy are okay.
My personal opinion is a little depth and a few years of experience couldn’t hurt in camp.
Perhaps taking Simms also takes him away from other teams possibly thinking available QB in the NFC?
