LB Brad Jones Visiting the Titans

Packers LB Brad Jones is spending Friday with the Tennessee Titans, according to Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press Gazette.

Jones has been with the Packers since 2009 and is an unrestricted free agent.

He began the 2012 season with the Packers playing primarily on special teams, but took over a starting defensive role in week 7 after injuries to both Desmond Bishop and D.J. Smith. In 7 games last season, Jones was on the field for every defensive snap.

Good Bye Brad. Do yourself a favor and bail out of a ship that is sinking fast. Well keep Hawk and pay him big money but let a better player like you go. Another real smart move on TT's part.

Looks like it. I'm done getting upset. Sad thing is that 2023 schedule is brutal.

Brad Jones is a below average LB with some potential, sure. But to characterize this is a big loss is utterly ridiculous. Amazing how Packer fans are so easy to crap on TT two years removed from a Super Bowl team that he built and one year from a 15-1 regular season team, that once again, he built. Seriously, get a grip.

Have we brought in a whole bunch of aging over-priced FA's this off-season? No.

Have some FA's left the Pack that were large pieces of last year's team? Yes.

Do those two things mean that "the ship is sinking". No

Hate to tell you guys, but we have a TT drafted top three QB in the league player. We still have on of the more talented receiving corps in the league and few LB's reach Clay Mathews level of play.

Do we have gaps? Yes.

Is our scheduled perceived at this point to be tough next year. Yes.

I am typing this thinking that because we lost Brad Jones, Greg Jennings, Tom Crabtree and Charles Woodson AND that we to this point haven't paod out the a$$ for a high profile FA that we're going to tank next year? Hell No.

Pull your head out of the black hole gutter you live in.
