From the truth is stranger than fiction department, Lambeau Field is to be the site where they set a Guinness World Record for the largest Zumba class, according to Cori Picard of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Like Zumba? Sept. 14, Lambeau is hosting largest Zumba class to break a Guinness World Record. Bring your friends!

Zumba is a fitness program that is inspired by Latin-style dance moves such as samba, salsa, mambo and more.
Picard adds that the expected size of the class is to be 10,000 people, and that the event is teaming up with business along Military Ave. in Green Bay to promote the area.
Sept. 14 is the day before the Packers host their regular season home opener against the Washington Redskins.
I plead ignorance as to whether any part of the event will be held on the Lambeau Field turf, but the Packers presumably must feel confident that the surface will not be affected.
No word on whether Donald Driver will be involved, although he might make the perfect instructor.
UPDATE: Clarification is given from Fox 11 in Green Bay. The world record attempt will be held in the Lambeau Field parking lot, not the stadium.
