Kampman\'s Silence
By PackerAaron
Jason Wilde notes that Aaron Kampman's decision to pull his name from the list of players available to the media over the weekend is a 'head-scratcher', since he is one of the most media-friendly players on the team. That may be so, but I don't think Kampman is not speaking because he's unhappy. My bet is that Kampman doesn't want to answer "How do you feel...?" questions over and over, which he would no doubt do if he gave the media the chance. Nothing is worse than a "how does it feel...?" question. I cringe whenever they get asked. They are lazy, ill-advised formulations for a reporter to take a twist as he or she sees fit.
Kampman's a smart guy, one of the smartest on the team. He knows what will happen the second he gets in front of the mics and he's delaying it as long as possible. I don't condemn him for that one bit.

That question and "Do you like the idea of playing LB"?
