Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton was the guest on WBAY's Sunday Sports Night Cover 2 on Sunday evening, just hours after the Packers beat the Detroit Lions 30-20 and earned a bye in the playoffs.

As part of the interview, Sitton discussed the injury to quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the response by the team's offensive line.

Sitton said the team had to be good in pass protection in order for Rodgers to operate and the unit did its job:

Not only were they nearly flawless in protecting Rodgers, they were outstanding in the run game to take even more pressure off Rodgers.

Needed to be good and they were freakin' awesome! Watching lacy gouge long runs and a limping AR have time to throw, I could hardly believe I was watching the packers. This was perhaps their best performance if the year.

With a healthy Rodgers this game would have been a laugher. Lolions got lucky he only had one leg to stand on.
Packers = class
no class=lolions.

Just listened to the report. Sue got his suspension lifted. He was fined $70,000, but the league considered him a 1st time offender because they put new language in stating that if a player goes 32 games without a repeat offence, his slate is wiped clean. This includes 2 preseason games, & Playoff games. The Boy named SUE went exactly 32 games.
