Jordan Love will play final preseason game
Matt LaFleur indicated on Sunday that his starting quarterback will play in the preseason finale against the Seahawks.

Every time Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has been asked about his quarterback's potential preseason playtime this summer, the answer has been some version of "I'll let you know."
That was not his answer today.
"He's going to play." said LaFleur when asked.
“Him playing isn’t just about him playing," LaFleur continued. "It’s about the other 10 guys out there, just making sure we're a cohesive unit. Because we do have a lot of young guys. It’s about getting Jayden Reed more reps and our two young wideouts, our two young tight ends. It’s always about the collective unit going out there and trying to continue to build a cohesiveness.”
LaFleur didn't indicate how long his young starters would play. It's notable that the Seahawks will most likely sit most of their starters, but LaFleur wanting his squad in sync prior to week one, especially given how poorly they've started on offense the last two years, makes a world of sense.

I would have liked to have seen McGough in action Saturday, and hope they leave room for him in a couple drives.

"It’s about the other 10 guys out there, just making sure we're a cohesive unit...."
My God. Imagine if they had this attitude towards Rodgers.
...It’s always about the collective unit going out there and trying to continue to build a cohesiveness.”
Well, that's a lie.

"My God. Imagine if they had fjords attitude with Rodgers."
Now, do you truly believe it was their attitude towards Rodgers, or Rodgers attitude towards OTAs and playing in the preseason?

Obviously Rodgers, but the team capitulated. It went both ways. I don't believe any such cohesiveness was built in preseason last year.

Agree. It seems VERY CLEAR now that Rodgers and whatever Rodgers wanted to do was mandated upon Matt LaFleur by his boss, Mark Murphy.
Everything we’ve seen and heard this year points to that being the case.
That’s history now, and the Packers can actually be ready to play in Week 1???
Lol. Good.

Were they pining for the fjords?

I wonder if this applies to the defensive squad as well? They've played pretty poorly in the last three season openers, so maybe we would like to change our approach and have them ready to rock this time around.

The whole TEAM needs continuity.
The D showed a weakness in the middle and crossers again that other teams will take advantage of.
My opinion is based what's been reported here, as I haven't been able watch the second game yet.
