Jolly Practices for First Time in Three Years

Defensive Lineman, Johnny Jolly, returned to the Packers practice today after a three year absence.

Jolly last played for the Packers in 2009. He was suspended by the NFL indefinitely in January 0f 2010. After spending 6 months in prison, Jolly was reinstated by the NFL in February of 2013. Jolly missed previous off season work outs while he remained in Texas dealing with legal issues.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette comments that Jolly, "looked a little heavy, but not extremely so."

Also, I guess he's around 340 right now, which is about 20 pounds over his playing weight in 2009.

Thanks for the link.

I think your guess is about right...though I suppose that means a guaranteed 10+ sack season. Right??

He does look a bit bigger than what I remember, but wouldn't we all after sitting that long? I'd like to hear him say how much he's been working out, etc in preparation to come back. He could really help this team if he's in good shape, or can get in good shape by August.

"Johnny Jolly". It's kinda like rooting for Kris Kringle in "Miracle on 34th Street".

Whether he makes it or not, since its not just up to him, others are vying for that spot too, but just being there and given the chance shows how classy the Pack has been towards him.
