Johnny Jolly Reportedly Cleared for Light Lifting
#Packers Johnny Jolly has been cleared for light lifting, according to agent @jackbechta after C-5, C-6 fusion surgery. He's a UFA.

Jolly's surgery was the same type of fusion that Packers safety Sean Richardson needed. Doctors used a bone graft from Jolly's hip to repair his neck; therefore his hip, in addition to his neck, needs to heal. Jolly's agent, Jack Bechta, expects Jolly to be cleared for some activity this week.

This is good news. I was concerned about Jolly missing the whole off season conditioning which I think is critical for him.

Jolly is all heart. But the last thing he lifted was either pizza or ice cream. Still he's the type of player you can't help but root for.

I would love to see Jolly back in GB. He brings a nasty edge to the defense that has been missing in GB for too long.

I don't see it. It aint like he can stand behind the best o line in football like Manning.

I don't see it either. If Manning was Jolly and Jolly was Manning then Jolly and Manning would be each other.

Dude, go back to school. Jolly had the similar surgury to collins and finley but he ain't running across the middle unless some shit gone wrong. Real bad wrong. The dude will be back. Collins no. Finley?

Similar, but not the same. Collins and Finley's fusion was higher up the neck - much more risk.
