According  to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, reporting on ESPN Radio (how's THAT for some corporate crossover):

Right now the Jets have a better deal on the table than the Buccaneers do...The deal the Jets are offering right now is so much sweeter than the deal the Buccaneers are offering.

And now word comes that Favre is willing to speak to the Jets. Per the Sporting News:

According to Brett Favre's agent, Favre is willing to play for either the Jets or the Buccaneers, and he hopes a trade is completed by Thursday at the latest.

Put those two together and there's a whole lotta ball game left.
