Jason Wilde Came To Play

"Do you guys know what you're doing?"

So begins Wilde's interview with Mike McCarthy, published in the Wisconsin State Journal this past Saturday. Wilde goes on to really press McCarthty and Thompson both about Favre and the Packers in general. It's a great set of interviews, and a breath of fresh air compared to the staid offerings from The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Green Bay Press Gazette.

Kudos to Wilde.

Thank you Thank you Thank you for not turning into Bret Favre news all the time. I just got done checking my RSS feeds and saw that Packers Blog is nothing but Jets Dolphins news. Yes I am interested but what I want most is my Packers News.

Predictions for tonight?

I'll say 23-17 pack, but I wouldn't bet anything meaningful on it.

Andrew from ATL here. Loved the Wilde piece. The thing I don't understand about these Brett apologists is why they don't get that taking him back was a short-term solution at best. MM has to go back on his plan from March, we probably lose Rodgers (and MM certainly loses respect in the locker room) and we go through it all again next year. These kids on the roster haven't been following the Packers for 30 years. They're not emotional about things. They only evaluate management on what they say and then do.

Anyway, I'm too jacked about tonight to talk about it anymore. Let's get this thing going!!!
