James Jones Talks About His Future Role With the Packers
James Jones joined NFL AM on Tuesday to talk Brett Favre, the Packers and the job of a wide receiver.
Jones explained how Packer receivers work on catching the ball in tight situations saying, "We always tell Aaron that it doesn't always have to be perfect. Everybody here that got drafted is here because they've made some spectacular plays not just the routine catch."
Jones was then asked about the potential departure of Greg Jennings, and responded confidently about becoming the number one receiver. "I'm ready. I work hard every year. I'm ready to take that role if we don't get Greg back."
Other topics include the Packers running game - or lack thereof, how the Packers don't need the read option, Â Charles Woodson and the NFL Combine.
