Introducing The Thursday Night LIVE Blog On CHTV

Join us Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. Lambeau time as we chat about Packers football and follow along with some college football and the Vikings/Saints game this evening.

For those of you who just can't get enough football, make sure to come back to Cheesehead TV from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Lambeau time this evening when our home page will be taken over by another one of our popular live blogs.

We'll be talking Packers as they prepare to take on the Eagles in their season opener Sunday in Philadelphia. But we'll also be talking college football and probably Brent Favre too.

Here's tonight's schedule...

6:30 to 7:00 p.m.: Free for all chat as we get a leg up on the NFL draft by following some college football. At 6:00 p.m. on ESPNU, former Packers linebacker Mark D'Onofrio coordinates the Temple defense as they take on Cullen Jenkins' and Frank Zombo's alma mater, Central Michigan. Then at 6:30 on ESPN Auburn takes on Mississippi State. We'll keep an eye on Auburn offensive tackle Lee Ziemba (6-8, 320) who's one of the top tackles in the nation and could be an early round draft choice in 2011.

7:00 to 7:30 p.m.: The free for all chat dies down as Eagles beat writer Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News joins us for a half hour Q&A session. Mr. Domowitch will be answering reader questions about the Packers' upcoming opponent as we get an insider's perspective on the enemy.

7:30 to 8:00 p.m.: The free for all chat resumes as the NFL regular season gets underway. We'll watch the NFC North Division rival Minnesota Vikings kick off the season as they head to New Orleans to take on the Saints at 7:30 p.m. on NBC.

8:00: We lead into Cheesehead Radio at precisely 8:00 p.m. as they get us ready for the Philly game.

It should be a fun time tonight. Hope you can join us.

Has anyone put any thought into Jersey Al's Vikings/Saints game drinking game idea?
