Interesting Quote From Woodson
By PackerAaron
Again, very much a 'take that as you will' but I found this quote from Charles Woodson very interesting.
Yeah, it’s disappointing...I would say we definitely have a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball, but for whatever reason, we dropped the ball as a defense.
Now no doubt Woodson is being complimentary of his teammates here, but one would not have to stretch too far to read it as a critique of Bob Sanders.

Ok, so here's the question. It's at the point where it would shock me if Bob Sanders was NOT fired after the season. Do you agree? Or would MM and TT retaining him not be a huge suprise?

I don't think its a LOCK that he gets the ax but it should be.
I will be surprised if Sanders is back next year.

I would not be surprised if Sanders is back next year at all. Think of the weeks and weeks of futility we watched at the punting position before they finally made a move. In this case, weeks = years, so Sanders should be safe for another two or three at least... ;)

Something that's been bothering me - many people have stated that the injuries to the defense have largely contributed to the decline.
NO WAY - look at Baltimore - they have 10 people on the defensive side of the ball on IR - last I checked, it would seem their defense has adjusted quite well? So why not us?
Avoid the rush - fire Sanders NOW. (Can you tell I'm more than slightly angry with this group of under achievers?)

PA: I think McGinn put the odds at 70% chance that Sanders is back next year.
