Injury Update at Packers Training Camp: Who's Returning? Who's Dropping Out?

In the good news department, cornerback Davon House returned to practice on Tuesday. But fellow cornerback Tramon Williams remains out.

There was a mix of good news and bad news at Green Bay Packers training camp on Tuesday.

The number of players dropping out of practice is out-pacing those coming back, but the silver lining might be that none of the injuries sustained in the early going appears to be of a serious nature.

With that being said, here's what injury situation looks like in Green Bay...

Returning to Practice

Cornerback Davon House

Commentary: After missing the first three days of training camp with food poisoning, House returned to the mix on Tuesday. With Casey Hayward, Tramon Williams and James Nixon also missing time, the infusion of House was a welcome addition.

Safety Chaz Powell

Commentary: Powell has obviously been taken off the active/PUP list following his absence from the first three days of training camp. Seeing as Sean Richardson continues to remain out and the Packers just signed Chris Banjo yesterday, the need for someone who knows the Packers defense was needed at safety.

Dropping Out of Practice

Cornerback Tramon Williams

Commentary: After dropping out late during Sunday's practice, Williams didn't practice at all on Tuesday with a knee injury. Head coach Mike McCarthy said he might be out a couple weeks, but he didn't think Williams injury was of a serious nature.

Linebacker Dezman Moses

Commentary: Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Moses had ice on his foot, but Mike McCarthy did not comment on Moses during his press conference.

Cornerback Davon House

Commentary: After returning to practice for the first time since training camp opened, House dropped out late in the session. McCarthy said he didn't have any information to be concerned about House and added that he was in shape.

Safety David Fulton

Commentary: As one safety returned to practice in the form of Chaz Powell, another dropped out. Wes Hodkiewicz reports that Fulton had his left knee wrapped at practice, but McCarthy did not comment on him.

Offensive lineman Kevin Hughes

Commentary: Hughes didn't practice at all on Tuesday, and Mike McCarthy said that he's been having headaches but offered little beyond that.

Still Out

Running back Du Juan Harris

Commentary: Despite Harris insisting that he's healthy and ready to come back, McCarthy said he's still two or three weeks away from returning.

Others whose status hasn't changed: offensive linemen Derek Sherrod and J.C. Tretter, wide receivers Charles Johnson and Kevin Dorsey, defensive linemen Mike Neal and Jerel Worthy and safety Sean Richardson.
