In Praise of Brett Favre

You don't need me to tell you, of course. But that was vintage Favre on Sunday.

I'm sure everyone is thrilled in Packerland that Brett is throwing touchdowns and breaking records, but my greatest joy on Sunday afternoon was watching Brett manage the offense and make call after call against the Giants defense. Once McCarthy put the game in Favre's hands, it was over.  My favorite play was the Donald Lee touchdown, with Brett faking the blitzing safety on a pump-fake and lofting a perfect ball to the corner of the endzone.

Of course, doing all this against the Giants is one thing. Doing it next week against San Diego is something else...
