Head and the Heart

It’s time. Everyone is making predictions for the upcoming season. Who am I not to join in? As I stated in our latest Packer Transplants Podcast, I’ve got two predictions for our 2007 Green Bay Packers, one from the head and one from the heart.
Head: 9-7
Heart: 12-4
Now, I will allow that even my ‘Head’ prediction is optimistic, but I truly think Thompson has put the pieces in place to produce a winning team. The two biggest questions will be the running game and the strong safety position. If the Packers can even get serviceable performances from these two areas, they could surprise a lot of people, starting with Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon. I will be shocked if a single member of the national media picks us to win this weekend, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
