Hawk & Bishop Don't Practice Today, Won't Tomorrow, Status in Limbo
The pair of inside linebacker both suffered calf injuries in the Detroit Lions game this past Thursday.
According to head coach Mike McCarthy at his Wednesday press conference, neither inside linebackers A.J. Hawk nor Desmond Bishop practiced this afternoon.
They won't practice on Thursday either, reports Ty Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Bishop and Hawk sustained calf injuries in the Packers' most recent game against the Detroit Lions this past Thanksgiving Thursday. Both left the game and neither returned.
They were replaced by D.J. Smith and Robert Francois, little used backups who played surprisingly well in place of the injured starters.
The ailing linebacker duo will be re-evaluated on Friday, which also happens to be the day the Packers make public their status (probable, questionable, doubtful or out) for the upcoming game on Sunday Dec. 3 against the New York Giants.

Im 100% confident in DJ Smith... He is all over the field and seems to know the defense. I expect zero drop off is smith starts. About 85% confident in Francois

When Hawk returns I wonder if Capers will have enough confidence in Smith or Francois to sub them for Hawk on passing downs?

Or it could go like this:
"AJ we're going to give you all the time you need. -- Oh you say you feel great? Well we're not going to take any chances, you are way too important to us."
Just kidding, I still like AJ.
