no more draft picks, Ted! Go out and offer Albert Haynesworth your first newborn child if you have to. Let's go get someone who's proven something in the NFL.

TT, or Mr. Cap Money as shall call him from now on, is an idiot. He has provided the team with a bucch of low to no talent D & O line players, rotten LB's, stinkling awful Special teams players and a coaching staff that may be the dumbest in the NFL. I mean you Sanders, Stock and MM.

How many times this year did the team take a lead in the fourth quarter only to have that crap-ass defense allow the other team to walk down the field for the winning points. If my memory hasn't been completely blown out by extreme high blood presure, it was four. Someone must pay for this. No wait till next year do it now.

It is what it is. We're not good and injuries have only compounded this. Losing 2 straight at Lambeau, not converting a 3rd down until the 4th quarter, etc., etc. Last week we control the clock and put up 400+ yards of offense and lose. Today we get 4 takeaways and have the ball in FG range with 2 minutes left, don't score and we lose. It's sad when the star of the day is the punter you got off the scrap heap 4 days ago. How many days until the draft? Everything that could go wrong this year did. Can't wait until the drama of the off-season starts. Just very disappointing. Like I said, it is what it is.
BTW, Boomer Esiason said the same thing today about the Packers being the most disappointing team in the NFL.

Aaron, looks like the coaching staff didn't think much of your matchup keys since none of them came to fruition. Even Daniels had 6 for 65 yards

Haynesworth would be a great addition on the field. But he is definitely a low character guy. I wonder how that would sit with some fans.

That was painful! How many penalties and close calls went the Texans way? Not that we should have needed to rely on the Texans to win a game. Also, didn't Mike Sherman get fired after an 8-8 season? That's the best record we can hope for this year now.

no sherman got fired after a 4-12 season.

we need to stop being so fickle. last year we thought mccarthy was the best coach in the league, and TT was an at least respectable gm. now, after one bad season, we're calling for their heads???

Well said packerwatch, plus having just signed an extension he is not going anywhere. We need to improve a lot of things, including some aspects of coaching, but I remind everyone that a little more than a year ago EVERYONE was calling for Tom Coughlin's head. Fans, pundits, everyone.

Some aspects? MM and TT should be safe -- fine. But their inability to make this team better over the course of the season can't be ignored. So far, the only player change they've made (not due to injury) was Derrick Frost. Last week. Fired them? No. Hand them a mirror when looking where to cast blame? Yes.

Dusty
I have no quarrel with what you say and I could question a number of things (like why Jackson didn't carry the ball once today). All I'm saying is MM is not going to be fired. Period. Larry McKarren said the same. MM and TT are safe as safe can be. So let's discuss realistic options to improve. That's all. If we have a good season next year MM will be a genius again in much of the blogosphere.

Corey I hope you had a good time, despite the loss. Win or lose, it doesn't get much better than game day in Green Bay. I would go to every game if I could afford it.

I don't buy that Haynesworth is a low character guy. I think he was in the past, but he seems to be moving in the right direction.

Many called Andre Rison a character risk as well, but I recall few people objecting to him helping the Packers win their most recent Super Bowl.

PackerBelle - I know, I know. It was posted just after McCarthy slammed his headset into the turf. Think we were in the same head space at that point... ;)
