Gut Reactions Week 11
By Aaron Nagler on Nov 16, 2008 with 4 Comments
- The Bears Still Suck
- Tory Humphrey can play. Who knew?
- Loved seeing Grant making moves in the second level
- A.J. Hawk played an excellent game in the middle, but let’s hold off on the ‘move him to the middle next year’ calls until the Packers play a more dynamic offense – like next week
- I was just shocked at how slow the Bears seemed on both sides of the ball
- Wonder if McGinn or Dougherty question the playcalling this week?
- Rodgers had a good game, but he simply has to stop staring guys down – it’s gonna cost him
- It’s almost like this team is built for playing in November in Lambeau, rather than in a dome…
- What in the world has happened to Devin Hester?
- Bob Sanders fever. Catch it!

I love Tory Humphrey as a big target for Rogers. Based on Roger’s difficulty with scanning the entire field, Tory represents a great addition to GB’s weapons.
As far as the suckee Care Bears go. The Care Bears have fallen quite a ways on defense. The Care Bears have stunk up the field on offense for quite a few years.
I’ve got Bob Sanders fever. His CB blitz was awesome – sack city. Almost had 2 of em too!
It’s all good though, next time we have a rough game people will be wanting him fired again. Poor Bob.
I was very concerned in the 1st quarter as we were moving the ball up and down the field and only had 7 points. But wow, after that it was a beautiful thing. Especially running in throwing situations and visa versa. What a concept! The defense also played well and I hate that Nick Collins didn’t get that INT because of the penalty.
Anyway, I got so excited that I went home from the bar and bought tickets to the Carolina game. Looks like Thanksgiving in GB for us. Can’t wait!
