Man, I’m getting tired of all the ball hugging, TT nutt-lickers who make constant pathetic “excuses” for your man-lover, Mr. 36-37…Oh what? It looks like Ted Thompson shits his pants every time free agency rolls around, (and when Brett Favre faces his pathetic team).

What you don’t say is ALL of your Lover Ted’s boys shit their pants in that Giants game, except Driver and Favre, but that fact will be lost on you because of hero worship of one man, Ted Thompson, who you will sadly defend at any cost.

You obviously don’t know **** about football, and I’m guessing your name is Dale Zawada…or one of his peg boys…

i agree with chitown packfan…interesting to see what to do with kampman…eithere jones’ performance will light a fire under his butt and he’ll play lights out…or…and to xxtatic i agree man, i like that shot of woodson going up to rodgers after his intercetion and shaking his hand, kind of like telling him…”here kid, dont fuck it up.” ive always ponder as to the question many critics have as to how to replace brent fack, the legend…here’s the answer: with a defensive QB in the realm of such greats like Ray lewis and others. i’m one of, if not, the biggest A-rod supporter there can be, but in reality i dont want him to go out there and win games with his own hands, god knows he aint got moxy for that yet!, but instead become a great disciplined game mananger…

Cowboys allegedly not focused… alluded to several times by Fox’s Buck and Aikeman during the broadcast… in the NFL you need to FOCUS ON EVERY GAME because “on any given Sunday” shit can happen (Bengals anyone?!)! “Not focused”, is a convenient excuse to use when a team on the rise suddenly gets tripped up! Consider: Joe Buck mentioned during the game that the Packers players “aired it out” Monday after the Tampa Bay fiasco. They know how the Packer faithful feel about them and MM/TT. Plus, they are professionals and PRIDE certainly plays a role… they also knew that this game was a defining moment… Okay, either this game was a “fix”, or, a Dallas team with so much pressure to “perform” knowing the stakes were high against a team that had something to prove buckled under that pressure because they encountered a rival that said to themselves “enough is enough – damn it, we are that good!” Okay, Cowboys may have thought this was an easy win – but they got their clock cleaned and if they were so DAMN GOOD they should have overcome the Pack – THEY DIDN’T!

That was NOT the same Cowboy team that played the Eagles the week before. This was a classic “trap” game for them. They were bad on both sides of the ball…

The Cowboys weren’t “focused” because they were “out-of-sync” due to the performance and unpredictability of the Packers defense (for a change).

Big question is what to do with Kampman now. Brad Jones proved he could handle the OLB spot currently occupied by Kampman. Does he sit another week for his concussion? If I was Capers, I would play Jones, ALOT, vs San Fran. even if Kampman is healthy. Jones did nothing not to play next week, and Kampman has not done anything this season to warrant starting next week, other than his contract.

Cant sit him the whole game next week if he is healthy enough to play (he can be effective with his hand down), but our defense looked more fluid and aggressive with Kampman not playing.

MM called a game that protected time of possession and field position, instead of an offense that was looking for that big play.
You will win most of your games with field position and time of possession in your favor.

I think we are seeing the last of Kampman in a Green Bay uniform, I hate to see it, I really like the guy

Make no mistake, we certainly had of moments mid-season in 2008 against Chicago and Indy. What did it define? A team with extremely volatile performances against better opponents. This win won’t be anything but parody if we don’t take care of business next week.

Defensive Team? I love the sound of that. Certainly takes pressure off an offense. We have a great chance to go 7-4 heading into a half week bye before a tough game against the Ravens. Not much room for error from here on out.

In the meantime, Enjoy the win. We embarrassed one of the hottest teams in football…and two of our biggest competitive (PHILI and ATL) lost today. Just got a 6-pack to celebrate.

@Dusty: Not to take anything away from the great victory tonight, and it might feel like the first good victory in two years… but just to give credit where it is due, last year the Pack beat the Vikings (season record:10-4), Colts (12-4), and Bears (9-7).

First – I’m more than happy to eat crow!
so GLAD to see the Pack DOMINATE the Cowpricks!!
Second – Where has the defense been this season?! What a smack down they put on Dallas.
Third – Still need to run more. MM did adjust in the second half but STILL relied on the passing game.
Fourth – AR is one of the toughest QBs in the league & a leader!
Fifth – I hope this is a season changer for the Pack… I hope!

Generally good points, except for this:

kudos to McCarthy for actually changing up the playcalling after halftime and really pounding the football

Did we really pound the ball in the second half? I think for the game we were at almost a 2-1 pass/run ratio; I don’t know if you can sustain such a number if you’re pounding the ball in the second half. In fact, I kept yelling (and commenting on the gameblog) that we should be running it more.

We’ve run the ball fairly well the last two weeks. If McCarthy is really serious about cutting down on sacks, we need to do more of that.

The defense that showed up today actually looked like that “3rd-ranked defense” that McCarthy talks about in press conferences.

It reminded me of an old Tampa or Ravens Super Bowl team. The offense just had to not make mistakes and the defense dominated the game.

Of course, when you have a team with Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, and Donald Driver, you’d like of hope they’d do a bit more than not make mistakes, but in the end, a great victory.
