Coaching staff needs to emphasize to the offensive line, tight ends and running backs: ‘engage the Lions defenders until the echo of the whistle has gone.’
Even at the risk of a late-hit penalty you can’t disengage Lions defenders at the whistle, they play right on the edge of ‘late’.
